The success of education in universities is determined by the performance of educational actors, especially lecturers as the spearhead of education and teaching management. This research aims to analyse the competency indicators of the Faculty of Nursing Department of Poltekkes Kemenkes Surabaya namely pedagogic, professional, social and personality competencies b ased on student perception.
The design of this research is correlational Analytic, reviewed from crossectional time. The samples in this study amounted to 173 students taken cluster sampling. Dependent variables on this research are pedagogic competence and independent variables are personality, social and professional, instruments for data collection in the form of questionnaires. The Lecturer competency indicator is analyzed using the CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis) and SEM (structural equation modeling) While the influence of variables used t test.
All variables are a lecturer competency indicator and represents 77.2% of lecturers ' competencies. Pedagogic competence is influenced by professional and social competence. And than personality competence does not affect pedagogic competence.
The competency indicator of nursing lecturers in learning according to student perception is represented by social competence, professional competence, pedagogic and personality. Pedagogic competence is influenced by professional and social competencies but not influenced by the lecturer's personality competence.
